Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy (19 November 1975) is a Canadian actor and singer. Her appearances on American television shows like Law & Order were three-seasons long. Crossing Jordan lasted six seasons. Jordan Cavanaugh was her main character. She also appeared as acting in movies such as RoboCop 3 or Most Wanted and independent films Chutney Popcorn, which she co-directed. Hennessy was a native of Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy, John's father was a meat and marketing sales/marketing executive. The position required significant travel and meant that the family had to move frequently. Maxine her secretary mother, left the family in 1982. Eleanor, Eleanor's paternal grandmother, cared for her daughter, who lived in Kitchener. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline is her identical twin sister and is a journalist from Canada and host. Her ancestry is comprised of Irish, French, Swedish, and Italian descent on her father's and most Ukrainian Roma on her mother's. She went to Stanley Park Senior Public School and graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute, both in Kitchener, Ontario, and was busking in the Toronto subway. Hennessy was the sister of her brother, who made their acting debut in 1988 as twin call-girls in Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, has stated that she was shortlisted for The X-Files for Dana Scully's part. Hennessy also played the character as Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993 Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to the role of Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney on Law & Order. She played the character for three seasons before she left the show in 1996.
